How's everyone's Wednesday?! It's been a solid week and the sun is out shinning for many of us. Something to add to our gratitude list for the day.
So I am bailing out of ATL (again) come May! Excited for the new adventure ahead. I will be traversing the country for the next couple of years working with all the amazing folks out there I can. I will be documenting how different places are dealing with the eventual return to "normal" life. And creating the content I have always dreamed of was possible. I'm very blessed to have this opportunity. #AndWereGone

This will always be one of my fave experiences. The winds were moving at 40-50 MPH in the middle of the Great Sand Dunes National monument. Took us 4 hours from Denver speeding to get there, do make-up and hair, and run to the dunes all before the sunset. I had a 60x40 softbox on a wireless strobe which created a very fancy windsail. So had to roll with the punches and shoot in ambient light.
The colorado sunset never disappoints. Having seriously amazing models also helps. Not "helps" as much as it's a requirement shooting with me. I like trespassing and abandoned places for shoots so you got to be fairly adventurous. This one will always be one of my fave outings.
And these girls made it that way. #Teameffort

Make sure you tune into the ESPN X games this weekend! It's important to support our athletes. I will be missing one of my favorite assignments I was lucky to get for years. X Games in Aspen, Colorado is a serious event and a privilege to capture. I'll miss freezing on the half-pipe then escaping to the media tent to warm up, charge batteries, connect with people, soup... then back to the cold. I don't love crowds but when it's -7 it's wonderful. Lol Shoulder to shoulder with fans braving the elements is different when everyone has puffy clothes on. Tune in and support.
